TESTIMONIALS

SEE WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

  • Exactly what men need to know and hear
Each talk laid the foundation for the next and as a whole made sense individually and together rather than one individual talk standing out.
Small group complete candor about the topic and very personal questions that men don’t like to address or admit we need help.
  • Very relevant to what God has already been working on in my heart this past year
The first two talks stood out especially. Many of the men in my small group had not thought of themselves as having different facets and phases of life, and it produced a lot of introspection about how they were using their earthly time and what direction they were heading.
For me, the most impactful part of the weekend was the healing service on Saturday. But I think the small group sessions beforehand really prepared my heart for prayer and to listen to God.
  • The topic met me where I am in my spiritual journey in such a timely and genuine fashion!
The one that stood out most was on the Hebrew term “Enosh” and followed up with “Ish” and “Zaken”. It was very helpful hearing about identifying my false self and learning about letting God live through my true self.
  • It built on itself - from Friday and invisible/visible to the 6 Hebrew words for stages of man - good small group sessions the the Sunday service and the final talk as the homily that tied it all together. Good music - I had GREAT accommodations. Powerful spiritual Ed experience - the conference leadership is to be commended!
  • Watching 3 men in my group release their anguish and make a start toward the future with God leading the way.
  • Extremely relevant for today's secular bombardment.
  • fantastic biblical view of manhood and phases of life to lean in differently as a Christian Man
The 6 Hebrew words for Man and all that goes with it and the need to SURRENDER
  • I found it very relevant. I have never heard of us being made in the image of God in that way and it has brought a new perspective into my life.
I found the talk about your false self most compelling because I realized where in my life I had compensated for deprivation and how I could work to surrender that.
As a college student, seeing the older men worship and tell of how God has worked in their lives makes it easier to live life for Christ.
  • There was something for everyone. Some things were less relevant than others, but that makes sense in a room full of people of various ages and experiences.
  • It knocked my socks right off!
  • Topic was great!
The sessions on the 6 Hebrew words was a great framework to look at our identity as men. I also really enjoyed his sermon on Sunday morning!
  • I found it very interesting, and a good fit for a father and son conference
  • I was able to grieve, cry, share emotions related to wounds at the healing service. Been bottled up a long time.
  • 100% relevant. I felt Trevor’s message was tailored specifically to me with where I am in life. God called me to be at this conference- I had no knowledge of the conference’s theme / message prior to- leave it to God!
  • Exactly where my life is and the questions I have been asking but didn’t know how to respond.
  • Very relevant to my struggles with my father wound! I love the story of Jacob in the old testament too!
  • It was spot on, we, as men, bottle up our need for healing and often wait to address it until we explode or burn out.
  • Very appropriate and it caused me to evaluate my actions and responses when dealing with family.
  • Very relevant as all men carry wounds of some kind.
  • Very relevant…identity, significance and purpose hit home. Discussion of Jacob was exceptional!
  • It always uplifts me to hear other men's walks and hear how they have been delivered from much of the same stuff we all walk through. It is very uplifting being surrounded by fellow Christian men. I have never attended something like this but will again next year and I will bring my 17 yr old son. Thank you so much, looking forward to next year.
  • The nature of the prayer time, laying on of hands, worship and giving and receiving of words from the Lord was a tremendous blessing and surprise.
  • This was a mountain top experience similar to Cursillo and I loved it!!!
  • ...the conference is always a wonderful time to get away to a special place and reconnect with other men you know, meet new folks who love the lord, pick up a few tools to add to my spiritual tool belt, and also to spend a little quiet time with the Lord.
  • Y'all are holding up The Trinity to men and it is showing.
